Our Mission
Brandon Mowers is a friendly family team of experienced machinery technicians and gardeners.
We understand the importance of reliable equipment in maintaining beautiful gardens.
Matt began working with his dad at the age of 22, he soon discovered he had unlocked a hidden talent as his father and grandfather had done before him.
Years later, after many years as a Lorry Driver, Matt decided to open up his own business and spend more time at home.
In opening this venture he has drafted his son David in to learn the trade; passing his knowledge onto the 4th generation.
Although the repairs may continue in the background he has now taken the busuiness in a new direction by offering gardening services.
David has been home educated since 2021. His struggles with anxiety meant that he found it very difficult to speak to people, but he has always enjoyed working with his hands building sheds, engines and working with tools.
Since he has been part of the Brandon Mowers team, David has flourished. He can now speak to customers, answer the phone and has been able to hone his talents for tools in a vocational setting.
David is now undertaking a course in Garden Maintenance to follow along with the new direction the business has taken.
Our technician Matt has said that "David has picked up the work very well, he can be a bit impatient, but he uses it to his advantage by getting on with the job instead of avoiding the work. He even manages to make a decent cuppa!"
